No, we do not have an infant program.

The ratio is 1:8 for pre-school and pre-kinder, and 1:15 for school-age children.

Yes, we are a fully inclusive Centre, and enrollment is based on space availability and availability of enhanced staffing.

We do not provide lunch. Currently, the Centre does not provide a snack due to COVID-19. We continue to provide milk for lunch.

Yes, we are a NUT FREE ZONE. In addition, the preschool room also has allergies to kiwi fruit and hence children are asked to avoid bringing it into the room.

Outdoor play is part of the daily program unless the temperature is below -25C with the windchill. If your child is too sick to go outdoors, then they are too sick to be at daycare.

Outdoor play is part of the daily program and children go outdoors at least twice a day weather permitting. If the temp is below -25C with the windchill, then they remain indoors. All children are expected to participate in outdoor play.

Daily reports are submitted using the ‘Hi Mama’ app. Report cards are given twice a year.

Pre-school: 2 – 5 yrs (including Kindergarten) – $20.80/day.
School Age: 6 – 12yrs $10.30/day on school days and $20.80/day on inservice and holidays.

Fees are due at the beginning of the pay period. Fees are automatically withdrawn using ACH. NSF will be charged $25.00.

Yes, full fees will be charged regardless of attendance.

Parents/Guardians apply for subsidies if they qualify. Until confirmation of subsidy is received by the Centre, full charges apply. Once the subsidy is paid, parents will be credited/reimbursed.

Yes, restrictions apply due to COVID-19.

One-month notice in writing or fees paid in lieu of notice if withdrawing before the one-month notice.

ECC is open throughout the year. We close on all statutory holidays and one Friday in May for Professional development. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, we close at 12:00 pm.
